Senior Quality Engineer - Automation
nPario is searching for a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the testing of products that monetize data for advertisers, publishers, and agencies.
Location
Redmond, WA USA
Specific Duties:
- Develop automated tests for features that manage, distribute, and monitor computation across large clusters.
- Create and improve test frameworks to satisfy automation and reporting.
- Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Communicate effectively with different teams across multiple geographies.
Required Skills
- Motivated self-starter, with capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail
- 7+ years of experience in a highly technical Quality Engineering environment
- Passion for QE and knack for identifying tests that break code.
- Strong grasp of operating system concepts including file systems and memory management
- Understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming
- Object-Oriented Language expertise (e.g. C++, Java)
- Familiarity with a scripting language, preferably Perl/Shell
- Experience on Linux
- Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management
- Experience in automated frameworks such as JUNIT, OCUNIT, SELENIUM, WEBDRIVER
Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (concepts and implementation)

7+ yearsÕ experience in a highly technical Quality Engineering environment.
Passion for QE and knack for identifying tests that break code.
Strong grasp of operating system concepts including file systems and memory management.
Understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming.
Object Oriented Language expertise (e.g. C++, JavaÉ)
Familiarity with a scripting language, preferably Perl/Shell
Experience on Linux
Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management
Experience in automated frameworks such as JUNIT, OCUNIT, SELENIUM, WEBDRIVER
Education
- BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering
Preferred Skills
- Experience in "Big Data" industry.
- Load and Performance experience a strong plus.
